How to Create a Search Bar for Studio

1. Navigate to programmablesearchengine.google.com and sign in.
2. Add a new search engine.
3. Enter your site url under "Sites to Search". Make sure to include the https:// for all urls you enter.
4. Customize your search bar. I recommend the minimalist theme and then change the colors on the button to match your site. That's the simplest approach. Also disable the google branding in the search bar.
5. Use the embed code element in Studio to implement the code. "Two-Page" works like the searches your used to on most sites. Another cool one is pop-up. Otherwise the results will display right under the search bar.
6. You can use padding and margin, row and columns to adjust how the search bar or results sizing look on your pages.
7. Don't try to put two different generated searches on the same site. Also, if you create more than 1 search engine on a google account, the next ones won't work without paying Google.
